Hello everyone! My name is Juhwan Kim, a rising senior at Cypress High School, and I am honored to be the National President of the Pacific American Volunteer Association for the upcoming year 2024-2025.

 

First of all, I would like to thank President Myung for giving me this opportunity to work as the National President. I have been a member of PAVA World for 9 years already. During those years, I participated in numerous events such as the Hollywood Parade, Bird Sanctuary,
Amigos de los Rios, Midnight Mission, Mother in Action, and OC Food Bank, just to name a few. Not only in California but I tried my best to expand PAVA out into the East Coast, making PAVA accessible nationwide, so I hope that more students will be able to learn about the value of serving and giving back to the community through the three missions that PAVA aims for. Lastly, I believe we can inspire others to make a positive impact in their communities and in each other's lives. I encourage all of you to participate and share your ideas actively in order to create innovative projects that will make a difference. Whether it's organizing local events, conducting fundraisers, or raising awareness for important causes, your involvement is crucial to our success.

 

As the National President of PAVA, I am eager to begin this journey, and I look forward to making the world a better place with all of you, even if it is picking up one piece of trash at a time. Thank you for your dedication and support. Let's make this year one to remember!
