Dear fellow members of PAVA,

Being elected president of the Pacific American Volunteer Association for the academic year 2023–2024 is an honor and a source of great excitement for me. I want to express my gratitude to the former leadership for their commitment and perseverance in making PAVA the outstanding organization it is today.

I firmly believe that we have a fantastic opportunity to significantly improve our communities as we advance. In addition to promoting social justice and equality, we will continually push for meaningful volunteer opportunities for our members. We will work with local organizations to determine where we can be most beneficial and make the most of our resources.

One of my main objectives is to broaden PAVA's membership and community relationships in hopes of expanding its awareness and reach. We will work tirelessly to engage with individuals and organizations who share our vision of creating a more equitable and just society. I believe that by working together, we can accomplish amazing things and genuinely make a difference.

Last but not least, I want to make sure that PAVA remains a friendly and inclusive area for all of its members. Prioritizing diversity, equity, and inclusion, we work to foster a culture where everyone feels respected and heard. We will give guidance and opportunity for personal and professional development, and we will equip our members to become leaders in their communities.

I am thrilled to begin this journey with all of you, and I look forward to the amazing things we will accomplish together. Thank you for your support and commitment to PAVA.
